I certainly hope that you feel better soon. On a serious note the one time I had Covid I thought I had a cold will your symptoms. Please do a Covid test 🙏
Thanks, Eric. I did do a Covid test…and was negative. As was my roommate who was sick a week ago. Something’s just going around, likely acerbated by the all the heat and air conditioning lately. Cheers!
Deep intuitives do not live in the present. We live in the future. We create conversations and other plans over and over rehearsing them but, when the time comes, our words orm actions feel like empty repetitions. These constant rehearsals are not because we are indecisive or anxious but because we are already saying or doing them within our future, seeing that the reception of what we do or say is not fully received and so we reword or reconstruct our future until we hope that this time others get our message.
What else can we usefully do but love people? We do not think as they do and they certainly will only very rarely understand us. It doesn't make us better, just different. We carry that burden not them.
Clint, Just in case: "God Bless You". I saw Hadestown pre COVID in NYC. Loved it. Looking forward to seeing it on the screen. Also, James Baldwin's Giovannie's Room is one of my all time favorite books. Since you have some extra bed-time on your hands, if you missed this, a good read:
Troy Ford said this about me: "Reading his reflections on Giovanni’s Room—as both mirror and map—is to sit at the feet of someone who has experienced multiple eras of queer existence. He lived through a time when queer spaces were both hidden and relentlessly policed, when a single raid could unravel a person’s entire life.
"I’m grateful—deeply—for the path he and his generation cleared, and the grace with which he now speaks about it.
Thank you, Michael! I’ve added you and MTF’s collab to my reading list for today. Sending big hugs your way. Feeling better, but being cautious. No backtracking allowed! :-p Cheers…
Okies Brian and guys, the clip is not on the level ofthe Haydes musical but the reviewer posted the words. Read them it could change your outlook. I don't think I have posted this version before, if I have enjoy it again 😎 Cheers DougT 🏴🇬🇧
There is absolutely no science behind it. None. But bunches of double-blind studies show that it seems to work at least as well as conventional medicine for chronic conditions, even some infections. Hell, it even works on animals, who you would imagine are immune to the placebo effect. Inexpensive, relatively harmless (unless you neglect your own MD, which I don't). But, homeopathy. The British Royal family's go-to medicine. Crazy, right? 'Nuff said. Maybe too much. I'm discovering to my great surprise (I like science, dammit). That it seems to work on my sorry, overweight and ancient a**. YMMV. You're welcome, I think. I always respect your musical intuitions, they haven't failed me (or us) yet!
If music doesn’t do my body good, it at least soothes my soul. And helps me shake my booty, which is ultimately good for the body. A’ight? A’ight. (Sorry, Hermes’ refrain keeps seeping into my brain.) Cheers!
I will put Hadestown on the list!

I do often feel a sense of deja vu or that others are a beat of three behind me in the song of life. Alas, I try to love them anyway. :-)

🌹🥐🍰🌈 Be well Clint. I'm watching Mary Trum- being interviewed by Sidney Blumenthal,
Thanks, Steve. Hope the interview was gripping. And I wish someone would grip her cousin’s throat. :-p

Joy is medicine, too.
Hadestown is one of my all-time favorite musicals (for reasons that might be obvious and others no-so-obvious).
Thanks for sharing this!!! I am cheering you on and grateful to be friends with you.
I raise a cup to you, my friend! 🌈✌️❤️
