Dear Clint, I'm sorry to hear of this health scare and I am happy you were able to get and receive help! It is good you had someone to call. You seem to be constantly on the go and more so recently with the move. Did it have anything to do with your electrolyte levels and hydration? It's important to be cognizant of one's health, as I'm sure you are already aware. I smiled when you mentioned the attendant and your reaction to him. That all seems to be in a good state!
Thank you, dear Larry. I have been moving and grooving a lot lately. And not drinking enough water or resting enough. That combo seems to be the culprit. My electrolytes and blood sugar were good.
But not as good as the med tech. Whoa, Nelly! He definitely put some pep in my step. He was also a sweet, sweet man. That combo is my Kryptonite. :-p
Pleased to receive the fuller story and to know that you are taking care of yourself. Sorry that it took a blow to your nose for you to get the message.
I love flirting with pretty doctors, nurses and parameds. I don't always do it and sometimes I am too involved with my health wellbeing to be distracted thus. Of course, working in hospitals (well universities, too) I used to have daily opportunities to flirt.
Thai male nurses are often more affectionate than Western counterparts, holding my hand, stroking my forearm. Calling me "Papa" or "Grandfather" tends to reduce the romantic fantasy.
Yeah, I’m a stubborn one. I guess I needed a bop on the nose and busted lip to get myself sorted. Or at least on the road to sorted.
Medical flirtations are delightful. Dear Dillon almost brought tears to my eyes. It’s rare to experience the kindness of strangers in these strange times. That he was beautiful was an added (boner) bonus. :-p
As for your Thai caregivers, remind them respect and love are timeless. And that lust isn’t familial. :-p
Thai men are more tactile and physically affectionate with other men. Hurrah! Traditionally, there is respect for elders and a tendency to "adopt" others into the family. They call friends "brother" or "sister" usually with "older" or "younger".
Clint! I'm so relieved you're alright. What a scare! I'm grateful for all the care and kindness you received. Focus on what matters (like those cute ginger cubs), and prioritize rest. Much love for you. 💜
ROBIN! You’re fantastic and fabulous, my friend. I’m grateful for all the care, concern, and kindness coming my way. Focusing on recovery and rest…and finding me a ginger cub to call my own. Love and light to you and yours, dear one! 🌈✌️❤️
Is there any chance this could be related to diabetes? I ask because I once passed out/collapsed and awakened later with no damage because the incident occurred while I was randomly standing beside my bed.
Hiya…test results showed my glucose steady, but I am battling the bulge so keeping my eyes on that. Docs seem to think the blackout was a result of dehydration and exhaustion from the move. So drinking more water and taking more naps here. Appreciate your concern. Cheers!
Thanks, Steve! I’ll have to look up “Home” by those two. As for air quality, I think I’m having allergic reactions to the dust in the old place. And I’ve got my ice packs chilling as I type. Cheers!
Ooof! Sending you virtual ice packs, easy does it vibes, and wishes for that to have been a one-off! Glad you're taking good care of yourself by extending the move. 🤕💜
Thanks, Keith! I’m grateful for the outpouring of care and kindness. And my landlord has been lovely…I’ll finish the move after I feel 100% again. Hope you’re well, kind sir. Have a great week!
There will be naps! Words of wisdom. Candles are only to be burned at one end, dammit, and then only when we need the light. Take care of yourself, I believe we're all saying. You have become family somehow. Even if you hadn't, we'd care.
Yes, like everyone else here, please, please take care of yourself. Find out what caused it and learn how to prevent future episodes. I enjoyed your comments about worrying about blood on your shoes, I think we all try to downplay something like your blackout. I’ve have had four heart attacks and twice ignored what I knew was happening because it just didn’t fit my schedule at that moment. I’m lucky, but I pushed the envelope. Don’t be like me. Take this seriously. BTW, those damn boxes will not only wait, but if they wait long enough you just might not need ‘em.
Thank you, dear Walt. I’m doing my best to listen to not only my body better but the docs too. Luckily, all signs are the blackout was from dehydration and exhaustion. Fingers crossed it’s the one and only. I’m making sure to sip more water and take more naps. Wishing you good health and many cheers!
Damned Clint, as we say over here, more Tonic in the Gin next time 😲 Seriously though take it easy and if any dought get yourself checked out by a doctor.
I hope the AI clip reminds you ans Drew about last night in the ER 😎 Cheers DougT 🇫🇴🇬🇧
Oh, Doug…you crack me up. I wish I could blame the face-plant on gin. Docs seems to think it was dehydration and exhaustion from the move, so taking it easy this week. As for Drew, he wasn’t there. My roommate is my faceless, nameless “brother from another mother.” I’m lucky to have several nears and dears who are also big queers. lol
Thank you, dear Tracey. I think you’re right. I’m not the best listener. But I look like hell so might as well nap and stay out of public eye. Will likely dial in and keep the camera off Wednesday. Hope to “see” you then. Cheers!
Culture Club was a pleasant and nostalgic diversion for me. Thanks for including it. Hope your spill is now fully healed.
Thanks, David. I’m listening to more CC and definitely on the mend. Cheers!

Glad you are OK. I have had a few episodes like yours. Really annoying!
Al
Thank you, Allen. Annoying is a good word for it. But I won’t pass up an opportunity to stay home and rest. :-)

Oh wow, keep us posted Clint - could have been worse, glad it wasn't! 🩷
Thank you, MTF…appreciate you, my friend! I’m doing much better today. Even if I look worse. Two steps forward. One back. Progress!

Yikes, take care of yourself!!! Maybe we're immortal but no sense in finding out until we've explored this part of it to the max!!!
Will do, Dennis…and great point! I’m on the mend, so worry not. Cheers!
Thanks Clint and Troy Perry and Happy Birthday Maya Rudolph. Loved Maya and Paul F. Tompkins singing "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
I'm wondering about the air quality there, and whether you're eating enough? Ice packs are very useful

Likewise, Clarke. You’re a gem and a gent. Thank you for your kindness and care. Cheers and much love and light!

Take care of yourself young man. I think that your body needs a break. I hope you get better soon x

I'll be there x
Much appreciated, Lee. Even if I’m not looking better, I’m feeling A LOT better today!
