In Case You Missed It...
Hey there, lovely patrons and peoples!
I've got a secret: I think of Substack more as a blog than a newsletter. So if you wanna see what I’m doing (and thinking) check me out on the web or via the Substack app.
Why do I prefer blogging? Well, I tend to make LOTS of typos and mistakes in the newsletter. And I’m able to (eventually) at least try to fix those on the blog.

The other great thing about blogs is the ability to revisit things that don’t work as well as they could. Like Substack's photo galleries. They can be useful... if all the images being featured look good as squares. Not sure why so many ui designers think this works, but I’d like to point out: Most photos aren't square.
So long story short, I’ve replaced most photo galleries with a running list of photos. This allows me to caption and/or link images individually too. Going forward (and going back some), wherever available, I’ll be including credits and details.
