I just finished watching the entire video you linked us to. I vaguely remember Pedro's appearance on The Real World. I was married at the time, so had to sneak in opportunities to watch the show. Now this video has blown my mind about how much more there was to Pedro and his life. Not to even mention how much his friends also were touched by him. What a story! What a man this too-young-to-die person was. I can not thank you enough for sharing this with us. Bravo!
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video too. I cried through most of it, remembering him and his beautiful life story. Tragic too, but filled with so much love and empathy. If you have time, I highly recommend Matt Baume for all kinds of great stories.
I know so little - next to nothing - about US popular entertainment - TV in particular. I can readily add Pedro to my huge list of losses. [Sigh] Thank you for re-membering him for me.
Thank you, Ray. You were a wee bit busy during those years. I like to think Pedro and your work overlapped a ton…and I think you would have loved each other as the warriors and angels you both were/are. Much love and light!
Uh HUH, Doug. Like COVID and cancer, HIV/AIDS has forever changed our world. Sadly, some prefer to pretend it didn't happen. I get it. Those early years were especially heart-breaking. But if we don't remember our history, we're damned to repeat it. And I have enough trouble remembering what I have/haven't repeated. Those I lost to the virus are unforgettable though. Seared in my memory like the superstars they were...and still are in my heart. Cheers!

Just subbed him on YouTube.
Thanks for pointing us to this important video legacy, Clint.
