Counting Down To My YouTube Return
My 2-Week Forced "Break" Is Almost Over...Finally
In less than 36 hours, I can post on my main YouTube channel again.
After after a second ācommunity guidelinesā strike in two months and a two-week forced ābreak,ā Iām ready to go back to the scene of the (alleged) crime:
Posting an external link the bots and bot-like bureaucrats are convinced that violates their ānudity and sexā policy. (For the record, itās art photography, which is allowed. There are exceptions. This is one of them. YouTube is dumbā¦but letās move on.)
During this break, Iāve been working on new content and have several videos lined up and ready to go. Some have already premiered here on Substack. A few without the censorship necessary to play on YouTube.
Iām excited to share new work on YouTube. But Iād be lying if I said I wasnāt nervous.
To say I still disagree with how YouTube enforces and interprets its guidelines, not to mention treats creators like children and criminals, would be an understatement.
Two strikes for two external links. One more and the channel is toast.
So I'm determined to be even more careful moving forward. No more optional links. And Iāll be triple-checking videos before I upload them. For anything that might get me in hot water. Fingers crossed.
On the bright side, this time off led me to decide to make Substack my new focus and home base. I've been posting creating and sharing content here on an almost daily basis and seeing the subscriber base grow is promising.
If you havenāt become a subscriber yet, I hope youāll consider signing up for regular updates and exclusive videos.
The ābreakā also allowed me to redesign parts of the Shop and add new exclusive art prints and t-shirts that Iām really excited about.
The support Iāve received has been encouraging and helps keep me focused and motivated.
Hereās to fresh starts, smarter uploads, andāfingers crossedāno more setbacks.
Thanks for sticking with me!
Clint
