I’m kicking off the “work week” with something special—a celebration of the past 24 hours, which ended up being the single-biggest day in the short but sweet history of Collide Press on Substack.
My “creative home base” now has more subscribers, both free and paid, than ever before. Thank you. Yes, you too, boo.
It feels right to share this milestone with the community that’s brought it to life and continues to make it possible—the patrons, the subscribers, and even those just passing through. You’ve all helped transform my creative habit into something bigger and more meaningful than I could have ever anticipated or dreamed.
In the spirit of giving back, I’m sharing my latest NSFW montage as a “select video,” free for everyone to enjoy. This montage owes so much to the generosity, inspiration, and kindness of a fellow Substacker who shared his collection of photos spanning nearly 50 years.
Though we only recently connected, I feel like I know the naked gentleman through his extraordinary portraits and candid snapshots.
After spending time with hundreds of his images, it’s clear to me he’s someone who lives life boldly and fully, a fellow creative, lover of life, and trickster.
Whether you’re a nudist or not, there’s a warmth and charm to his photos—a (mighty) realness that invites you in, reminding us to embrace life without apology or shame.
For me, sharing my own work, stories, and passions here on Substack is a way of being a “naturalist” too—revealing pieces of myself through creativity. Every bit of encouragement, kindness, and support is what makes this space so meaningful.
Whether you’ve been here since day one or just joined, know that your presence truly matters to me. When I think about it for too long, I get emotional…overwhelmed even.
This montage is my way of saying thank you and of celebrating all of us who “color” outside the lines, doing our best to live loudly and proudly, in real life and/or online.
Here’s to many more milestones, both big and small.
Thanks for reading and subscribing!

I've followed this gentleman for years on various platforms. . Reading his missives is always time well spent. Rather inspiring as well.
Hmm. Him signaling a police car (admittedly on the streets of San Francisco) was a particularly striking image. I'm guessing he's a city celebrity.
