Of the hundreds of comments, emails, and messages I get every week, there’s usually one or two “letters to the editor” from guys who think they are my editor-in-chief and have a right to tell me what to do and how to run my Substack and/or YouTube. Nope.
That’s not how you make friends or win influence with me.
But it is how you get ignored and/or blocked by me.
Who likes being told what to do or how to do it? Not I, said this fly guy.
Also, for the record, I don’t bother replying to self-important asshats.
Can’t please ’em all—so I refuse to play those childish games.
That said, a big thank you to the 98-99% of folks who comment and message with thoughtful questions, creative suggestions, and words of encouragement, support, and wisdom. I do my best to respond to all of those because I genuinely appreciate anyone who takes the time to engage in a meaningful, human way.
As for the negative ninnies, I tend to delete their comments and messages.
Over the past year, I’ve been accused of “censoring free speech” by know-nothing know-it-alls who could use a refresher course on constitutional law: “free speech” only applies to the government, not independent creators.
My Substack, my YouTube, my rules.
My goal is to promote and protect online communities built on love and respect. We are here to celebrate, not debate. Civil discourse requires civility. Reasonable minds can differ. So let’s all be more civil and reasonable.
No one has to like everything I post. But if you want to be part of the Collide Press Crew, any criticism you share should at least be constructive. Otherwise, it is both unnecessary and unwelcome.
Contrary to popular belief, popping off on the internet about things says more about the complainant than the subject of those complaints.
Let’s all check ourselves before we wreck ourselves. Shall we?
Please be kind…or rewind elsewhere!
Clint 🌈✌️

Clint, know you are seen and heard, particularly since your livecast, and very much appreciated. Continuing in my unofficial capacity as your Rainbow Watcher, please add the icon to the iconic Graham Norton. Cheers and many hugs to you.
Clint, I try my best to be a good contributor and both you and others enjoy my postings. I'm reminded of a Channel guy who has this as part of his mantra 'Be You, They'll Adapt' Cheers and hugs from another warm sunny (very unseasonable) Spring day here in 🇫🇴 Cheers DougT
