This was originally planned as a video about Don Whitman, the photographer behind the iconic Western Photography Guild.
While I might make that video, I found myself diving into a fascinating rabbit hole when I realized so many of the models had posed for so many of the same photographers, criss-crossing the country to make erotica.
A motley mix of aspiring actors, professional bodybuilders, con men, down-on-their-luck family guys, and hustlers, oh my. I couldn’t resist switching gears and making a sampler montage instead.
