As June draws to a close, the rainbow flags start coming down. The corporate logos quietly return to grayscale. And the glitter, once joyfully scattered in celebration, is swept away until next year.
But for many of usāespecially those of us who live this life, not just like the postsāPride isnāt a 30-day sprint. Itās a 24/7/365 kind of truth. Itās in the way we love, live, grieve, resist, show up, and keep showing upāeven when the world makes it hard.
Pride Month is beautiful. Powerful. Essential. But one month will never be enough to hold the complexity, history, heartache, and hope of this community.
So yes, the calendar flipsābut the band plays on. The joy plays on. The fight plays on. The love plays on. And if you can dig itāand handle itāyouāre always invited to party!
Keep calm and keep Pride going on!
