I get what you’re saying…although, I’m not quite there as far as disliking AI. In fact, I’m beginning to embrace it more and more. Now that the “great and powerful Oz (Apple)” is on board, so am I. (Eh…so I’m an Apple fanboy from way back.)
Thanks, Jeff. I’m hopefull Apple finally finds its Intelligence. My Siri has been all dumb lately. Maybe it needs more AI power. I’m an ex-Apple employee, so I appreciate all the great hardware and software. But still waiting for them to make Siri great again. lol Fingers crossed!
Yeah, I tend to attack on first sign of irritation and ask questions later. I have yet to hear from any human from the company after I cussed out their AI bot. At least I’m not being spammed anymore…by them anyway. :-p
Clint, I have a love-hate relationship with AI. I love how it generates images to order. In some ways spellcheck, Google, Grammarly are all AI support for writers, but I would never let it write a story or poem for me. Just now I got off the phone to change your scheduled car appointment and the "person "I spoke with sounded really real and turns out she was AI freaked me out. Glad you're feeling better Fondly Michael.
Yeah, AI is getting good at mimicking voices. But it can’t think for shit. I use it for proof-reading usually, but I still don’t trust it as far as I can throw the billionaires beyond it. :-p
Hi Brian, like you your icky crossed the pond on Saturday. I know my body now after 3score+10 as the saying goes. It started as a niggle in my Right ankle cuff, nothing major requiring A&E but still a niggle. I soldered on but later Sunday it hadn't gone away and the cuff was hot and clammy. I managed to get a docs appointment mid morning and they sent me to A&E. Duly packed my self off to hospital. Relief after Doppler tests it's not a DVT or clot but seems I have a skin area infection and prescribed antibiotics. So fingers🤞 that should clear everything up. Medication sounds like SDI meds......nothing I have needed for decades 😎😁😯 Cheers DougT🏴 🇬🇧
Oh no! I’m so sorry you’re illing, my friend. I don’t know what all the abbreviations mean, but it sounds like you’re in good medical hands. I’ve got my fingers and toes crossed for your speedy and total recovery. Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to help you heal. Cheers and wishing you good health!
Oh I know Ray I was just musing that it's been that long since I had needed any SDI meds 😝 however the penicillin based antibiotic given at the hospital are already working, yippee. I have to say Ray my hospital visit which was GP initiated I was seen in a new SDEC (Same Day Emergency Care) unit. It was a very pleasant experience as compared to a general A&E visit! Cheers DougT

Ok folks just some random nonsense I found.....enjoy, Cheers DougT 🏴🇬🇧
Oh, that’s rich…especially the “I’m Britney, bitch” and then him being bald in the final shot. :-p
And a good body on Britney's bitch too 😜
Most companies use AI as mindless bots to do the boring and repetitious skivvying. It is frustrating and irritating.
I will keep my pitchfork and flaming torches in reserve, for the moment, until I see whether or not the monster is truly dangerous.

You got it, amigo. "Defense de AI." Pardon my French!
Thanks, Clarke! Your French is perfect…where are the protest torches?!

A brief translation:
A&E=ER
DVT=DEEP Vien Thrombosis
SDI should be STD=Sexually Transmitted Disease😷 😵💫😎😁
So what I'm guessing is you rubbing up against someone. :-p Go, Doug...heal!!!
😁 years since I needed STD treatment, just the hospital issued Flucloxacillin which is a recognized STD medication
All antibiotics are or have been potential STD medications, dear. Disregard the association with sexual infections, my friend.
