We are not separate. A Oneness of Spiritual Being

The practice of giving blessings and bearing pain begins with oneself. (Meaning, the work of love and compassion begins at home.) --from teachings of Atisha, an 11th century Buddhist sage. All language approximate, otherwise there's not enough room here to say anything that makes any sense at all.

Nobody escapes suffering, even if it appears they have. It's hard to keep any boundaries at all: firm but permeable ones are an accomplishment to aspire to.

Thanks for sharing the wisdom, Clarke! Cheers, my dears….

Clint, Some of the greatest advice I ever received a long time ago you have just echoed: "Most people are carrying struggles we can’t see and know nothing about. So a little patience, a little compassion, and a little grace can make all the difference." Fondly, Michael

Been hearing versions of it since I was a kid, but I think its meaning is finally sinking in. I’m slow. Sometimes really, really…like a drying oil painting slow. :-p Cheers, my dears!

As in all things, for me, the problem was/is slowing down enough to remind me of the advice! Fondly, Michael

Ain’t that the triple truth, Michael? Cheers and let’s take the slow lane for a bit. Cheers!
